Making comics is so unbelievably slow when you’re doing 99% of it yourself.  Here is a bit of what I’m doing RIGHT NOW.

Here’s a more generous preview snippet of “Safe House Diner” (written by David Canario, illustrated by Matt Collander) from our next anthology, “Modern Tales of the Future.” I should stop obsessing about the shading and word balloons on this (text not included in preview) and get on with illustrating my 12 page comic that also runs in this book. But it’s about time travel, so maybe I’ll find a wormhole or time pocket to draw in, on the verge of the story’s due date?  And then it’ll be better?  No…
